| Just getting started on the jig that will hold the hull. I placed the jig on saw horses so that I could get it level. Kind of hard to do on the floor since it has casters. This also made it easier to get plumb, square, and get the baseline correct. My boat building buddy Tucker wanted to help. |

| 1-29-03 I finally got the transom on th jig. The transom consists of three half-inch sheets epoxied together. The transom had to be put on a 77-degree angle. The second picture show squaring the molds and installing bracing. I got my fiberglass kit from www.bateau.com. 2-2-03 I had to put the jig on saw horses so that I would have room to butt block the panels. It will get cold tonight so the epoxy will cure slooooow. 2 down and 2 to go. |
