Two sides stitched together at the bow, forward frame and mid frame.
Transom added to stitched sides and frames.
Add a half inch bottom stitched in place.
Flip it and it looks like a boat.
Cut the transom for height and tiller clearance.
Dry fit longitudinals and seats. Notice forward top hatch covers and lowered outboard mounting board.
Looking forward.
Precoating area for fillets.
Bow fillet (precoat, putty, biaxial tape).
Keep filleting, not done yet.
Keep going, drill some drain holes in those bulkheads. Drilled 7/8" holes, plugged with epoxy and cabosil and then drilled 5/8" holes through the epoxy plug. Didn’t photo fiber glassing. Tips include: fairing smooth at edge of biaxial before laying finishing cloth, using a squeegie and not a brush to spread resin (at least on finishing glass), always fix problems and fair before adding more layers. I would use FG tape tabs and pull cable ties before filleting next time. Fairing around cable tie "scars" was a pain.
Foam and Cleats, ready for seats.
One seat precoated, one not.
Fillet between seats and side. My best one! At least it's the one everyone will see.
Aft seat area, see the foam?.
Getting there, fairing, smoothing, .....
